What exactly comes in the pair?
A full Tea Bento Box in the format you choose, six mini tubes at five pyramid sachets each, so 30 sachets in a ribboned, gift-ready box. Alongside it, a pouch of the opposite format. Start hot and the pouch is iced; start iced and the pouch is hot.
How does the $50 price work?
The bento is $45 on its own and the pouch is normally $10. Paired, the pouch drops to $5, so the two together are $50 instead of $55. Tap any “Get the pair” button and both go to checkout with the discount already applied, nothing to type.
Should I start with hot or iced?
Start with the format you already drink most, that is your full 30-sachet bento. The pouch is the other format, the one you keep meaning to try. If you live on hot tea, you get an iced pouch to cold-brew; if you are an iced drinker, you get a hot pouch for the first cool morning.
Which blends have caffeine?
Both formats include caffeinated and caffeine-free blends, so it depends on the blend, not on hot versus iced. In the hot bento, for example, Nighttime Routine, Spa Bliss and Peppermint are caffeine-free. Every blend’s caffeine status and full ingredient list is on its own product page.
How long will the pair last me?
The bento holds 30 sachets and the pouch adds more of the second format, so at a cup a day the pair lasts around six weeks. Steep the black and green sachets a second time, which good whole-leaf tea takes happily, and it stretches further.
Is the bento actually gift-ready?
That is what it was designed for. It arrives tied with a cream ribbon in a box built to be the presentation, 8.5 by 6 by 2 inches, compact enough to hand over as-is. No wrapping paper needed. Plenty of people gift the bento and keep the $5 pouch for themselves.
How do I brew them?
Hot: one sachet in eight ounces of water just off the boil, about 212°F, for five minutes. Iced: steep strong and pour over ice, or cold-brew a sachet in the fridge overnight. The pyramid shape gives the whole leaves room to open, and the sachets are plant-based, made from non-GMO sugarcane and free of petroleum-based microplastics.
Is there anything in it I should check first?
These are foods, not supplements, and there is nothing artificial in them, but herbal ingredients are still ingredients. Some blends contain licorice root or valerian root, which do not suit everyone. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or managing a health condition, check with your doctor first.
