The instructions for proper steeping are included on each package. Here is also a cheat sheet to get you started:

Black Teas / Herbal Teas:

8oz. water
200-212ºF
Steep for 5 minutes

Green Teas:

8oz. water
170ºF
Steep for 3-4 minutes

Oolong Teas:

8oz. water
190ºF
Steep for 4-5 minutes
